- Work with Design Teams: Collaborate with design engineers to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT), particularly for SMT and BGA components
- Liaise with Production Teams: Coordinate with production managers, technicians, and machine operators to resolve production issues and improve assembly efficiency
- Supplier Quality Management: Monitor the quality of materials and components supplied by vendors (e.g., BGA components), ensuring they meet required specifications
- Manage supplier audits and drive improvement actions when necessary
- Create and Maintain SOPs: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SMT and BGA processes and inspections
- Quality Reporting: Provide detailed reports on process performance, yield metrics, and quality control audits
