• Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for reporting Daily QC/HSE activities to GM Engineering
• Responsible for all Incoming, in-process & Final QC inspection activities
• Planning schedules and delegating assignments to team members to meet daily production demands
• Perform internal audits, FIFO audits, supplier audits & HSE audits and ensure overall quality and safety of products and employees
• Carried out inspection & provide stage clearance for various components in PEB throughout erection
• Inspection and verification of various sizes of MS and GI ducts fabrication and erection as per the GFC drawings & specifications
• Preparing punch list points before Smoke/Pressure/Light testing and preparing documents then getting clearance from client after testing
• Responsible for addressing the identified non-conformity and review the proposed corrective & control action
• Handling of manpower, monitoring job in the fabrication, Assembly with Vendor, Billing, Planning Schedule
• Performing Vendor Evaluation with review of Quality & Manufacturing capabilities
• Enquiry Document preparation and floating enquiries to approved manufactures/suppliers
• Purchase order processing and expediting of vendor documents for approval fabrication schedule and delivery
• Handling of Departmental Process Audit with External Auditors
• Review & Approval of ITP, WPS, PQR & WPQ, NDE and in process inspection Procedures of Vendors
• To conduct internal audit for the subcontractor
• Co-ordinate with design team always to solve the issue to vendors
• Expedited Complete Sub Vendor Process from PO Placement to Site Deliveries & payments
• Planning the Weekly & Month Progress of Vendor Based on project program along with Project managers & Erection teams
• Visiting Supplier/Sub-Suppliers work for Field Expediting & Complete Stage/Final Inspection
• Preparing the entire dossier final documentation and traceability of quality records
• Review and approve sub-contractor's inspection test plans and other QC documents for conformance to specification, codes and standards
• Reviewing lab test report of procedure and performance qualification for acceptance
• Checking of Materials as per Materials certificates
• Checking Validate of all welding Equipment's Calibration certificates
• Control of all documentation related to Welding activities
• Maintaining the drawing and documents
• Maintaining the material stock require and Controlling the quality of the works as per given standard, drawings and Inspection and Test Plan
• Attending the Progress meeting with client and discussing about the work schedule
• Final inspection of components (Dimensional, DFT, Visual & Trail assembly)
• Carry out raw material inspection as per the QAP & Technical specification
