  • Telstra is a leading telecom and information services company in Australia. The main objective of this project is offsite data maintenance. As part of this, it was required to keep Telstra network upto-date with the regular field updates in the GE Small world TPNI GIS environment. This is an online project and we directly worked in Small world. The data is collected from the client in drawing and scanned maps. The data consists of building information. The maintenance entailed Network Update Advice (NUA), Switch Number Identification (SNI), National Plant Assignment & Management System (NPAMS) and miscellaneous projects. I have worked various FTTP (Fiber to the premises) Fiber and copper as built scopes in Telstra project, like Fiber cable feeding to individual properties 7.1 scope, Updating Fiber Access points, having knowledge on HFC network. Copper feeding to properties and main street network scope 6.1 scope and 6.3 scope. NUA scope is 1.1 in this task work is placements of lead-ins updating of lead-in, cable details to individual properties. Telstra which related to update the appropriate pairs to respective properties after ensure of these in field. The purpose of the step by step procedures for updating, acceptance testing, updating the values by using Small World. I have done different scopes in Telstra, that are 21.2 it is a complete updating the address in small world as per address investigation, 21.22(SC-99) and 21.4 this two scopes are updating the address in AXIS, NPAMS and Small world as per investigations.
