Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
1. Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including calculations of wages, bonuses, and deductions.
2. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations related to payroll, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and Income Tax (TDS).
3. Payroll Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations.
4. Reporting: Prepare and distribute payroll reports and statements to management and relevant departments.
5. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies.
HR Operations:
1. Employee Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including preparation of offer letters, induction programs, and documentation.
2. HR Records Management: Maintain and update employee records, including personal details, employment history, and performance evaluations.
3. HR Policies: Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
4. Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
5. Training & Development: Coordinate training and development programs for employees to enhance skills and career growth.
6. HRIS Management: Oversee the HR Information System (HRIS) for accurate employee data management and reporting.
Performance Management:
1. Performance Reviews: Assist in the administration of the performance appraisal process, including collecting and organizing performance feedback.
2. Employee Relations: Address employee queries and concerns related to HR policies, benefits, and performance management.
3. Conflict Resolution: Support the resolution of employee disputes and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll processes, HR policies, and labor laws in India.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software. Advanced MS Excel skills are essential.

Payroll Processing: Expertise in managing end-to-end payroll processes, including calculations, disbursements, and compliance
HRIS (Human Resource Information System): Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems like SAP HR, Oracle HCM, or similar tools
Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances such as PF, ESI, PT, and TDS
Data Analysis: Advanced skills in MS Excel for payroll analysis, reporting, and data management
Auditing: Ability to conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Team Leadership: Experience in leading and managing HR and payroll teams
Process Improvement: Skills in identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements
Project Management: Ability to manage HR projects, including new system implementations or policy rollouts
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees and management
Onboarding & Offboarding: Experience in managing the complete lifecycle of employee onboarding and offboarding processes
