addition to upgraded broadband services and broadband multiplay
network implemented with the help of BNG,RPR switches & DSLAMS.
Equipment used to implement a broadband network is supplied by
UTSTARCOM, REDBACK & ZTE. Installation and configuration part of
the equipment is done by the HCL engineers. This project is the basic
foundation for all the new telecom services & technologies.
Role : Worked as a Team member & responsible for site survey, configuration make
over & take-over, acceptance testing and end to end connectivity for
equipment (like Broadband ,BNG, RPR- SWITCH, OCLAN etc) HARYANA- II
& UP-WEST Prior to this physical installation, DC power-cabling, fiber
Cabling & co-axial cabling for RPR Switches (T1, T2), OCLAN Switches
& BNG.
Project 2 : NIB(Integration of MPLS Network)

Description : To implement the network for Common Wealth Games across all the
stadiums in Delhi & NCR which includes over 60 venues. Two networks
were established one for Data & other for Broadcast to cover entire
sports event in all the stadiums. This was for the first time such a
large event was organized & for that we achieved great applause from
our customer MTNL for its huge success.

Project 5 : MTNL’s Next Generation Converge Network
Client : MTNL
Description : The MPLS Next Generation Converged Network (NGCN) is an effort by
MTNL to provide advance wide range of Internet and VPN services to
MTNL to provide advance wide range of Internet and VPN services to
cater to the data communication requirements of a wide spectrum of
enterprises, service providers and businesses in India. The IP MPLS
Network focuses not on just providing basic transport services, but
promises a paradigm shift in the traditional connectivity options
available today in the country. A total of 49 locations in Delhi are
inter-connected to create this network.
The services like, Internet Services and MPLS VPN Services are
provided over a common MPLS infrastructure using CiscoCRS-1, Cisco ASR
9010 and Cisco 7600 Series routers. The MPLS-VPN allows the segregation
or intersection of VPN end-points through a flexible mechanism that
allows customer Intranets and extranets to other customers. The
Cisco 7600 routers provide the Edge interface to the VPN and other
Services while the Cisco CRS-1 and Cisco ASR 9010 provide core label
switching for VPN tagged packets. The Core will provide the IP
transport mechanism supporting all MTNL offered services. OSPF will be
used as the IGP and BGPv4 will be running to provide external routing
to the wider Internet and also routing for customer VPNs.
