Project Description: The "Event Management" project is used to manage the booking for a USA based client who wanted to manage all the fitness events that they are hosting across the various states and cities in USA as part of healthy lifestyle. The client also wanted that if the person wants to attend the event, he/she can register for that event.
Responsibilities & Implementations:
- Created Custom Objects and fields for this project.
- Responsible for Creating various Profiles, Roles, OWD and Sharing Rules.
- Developed an Apex Trigger to reject duplicate bookings.
- Responsible for Creation of Batch Apex Class which should delete those event records which are older than 2 months.
- Responsible for making a Callout to an External "Smart Street API" to verify the Addresses in which the Events are taking place.
- Responsible for Exposing our Apex Rest Class to send the Event Details to 3rd Party in JSON Format.
