Project : DCM 1.1

The project was a transformation project where we retired an existing supply chain planning application that was 20 years old and its workflow. We replaced it with a new application that incorporated connections to newly added external systems and new workflows. The cutover to the new application was planned and executed successfully without any interruptions.

My Tasks:

• Created intricate workflows that consolidate data from various systems
• Deployed workflows that execute Shell scripts that wrap PL/SQL code in Control M job monitoring tool with over 300 plus jobs.
• Designed and developed PL/SQL scripts that process supply chain data according to business logic and automated them using Shell scripting.
• Designed and created new oracle schemas to store and process incoming data from newly added external sources
• Performance and defect analysis of PL/SQL code by creating and analyzing indexes on tables.
• Created ETL pipelines to load flat files such as CSV using SqlLdr and spool processed data to and from Oracle DB
• Created webpages in web app using java servlets and apache tomcat web server
• Trained and mentored new team members from Aug 2020 onwards on the project layout and got them ready to complete tasks independently.
