Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead HPE Primera System QA testing for Core OS component
• Review functional spec and feature spec documents , design test plans and plan executions
• Create project documents - like test plan, project page, schedules & deliverables, h/w & s/w requirements
• Plan test execution cycles to align with Product timelines and to assign sub-component execution to peer members of team
• Write test case to cover new features for every release
• Automate new test case using existing automation framework available for HPE Primera testing
• Analyzed and tested different builds to identify, trace and help resolve bugs.
• Work with development to root cause issues and to verify fix provided by developers

As part of Core OS System Test team :

• Perform System testing for different sub-components which is part of Core Inform OS
• Oversaw major new enhancements to existing software system

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and drive 3PAR array sustenance testing, eliminate defects & stabilize the overall product interoperability with Tier-1 OS(ESXi, RHEL, SLES, WIN)
• Review functional spec and feature spec documents , design test plans and plan executions
• Create project documents - like test plan, project page, schedules & deliverables, h/w & s/w requirements & support matrix postings
• Create Test-setup by installation of OS, configuring client and storage systems and provisioning storage for desired test
• Work with support teams to identify field issues, reproduce issues and Update and patch testing

As part of Sustenance team :

• Qualify FC & NFS protocol Interoperability for 3PAR storage systems with Tier-1 OS
• Configure End-to-end FC/NFS connection with 3PAR-Multiple OS environment.
• Perform Zoning with Cisco & Brocade switches, configure Deduplication and Compression for LUNs and Shares
• Create different flavor of VMs for workload generation on ESXi hypervisor and other OS using Snaptest, Hazard IO Tool

VMware NFS Interoperability Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities :

• VMware ESXi installation, storage partition, VM creation with C-mode storage
• ESXi feature testing Fault tolerance, VMware-HA
• Testing behavior of ONTAP OS with multiple ESXi versions using NFSv4.1 and NFSv3 datastores
• Installing and configuring NetApp virtual storage console (VSC) to provision vVols
• Having good understanding in ESXi, VM settings and recommendations required for various guest operating systems
• Good knowledge on VM cloning, migration and template creation
• Basic knowledge in cisco UCS and HPE blade platforms
• Working on NetApp storage ONTAP installation and configuration end to end
• During all this Testing, simulating complete product environment and testing various real time scenarios to assure Quality and supportability of NETAPP OS
• Good ability in communicating with Partner engagement programs and various cross-functional groups on various aspects like project planning, status exchange, resolving technical issues, exchanging technical views and seeing through closure of project
• Involved in catching any new regression issue due to feature enhancement at any stack

• In charge of developing product testing automation framework against specified requirements
• Accurately monitoring and recording results in test documentation
• Preparing detailed test plans, acceptance criteria and test scenarios for each release
• Liaising with developers and programmers to swiftly resolve bugs
• Analyzing, writing reports & communicating results to colleagues & managers
• Monitoring testing process and identifying and logging test failures
• Testing full product suite's, identifying problems & resolving them with development team
