- To ensure maintenance and calibration of datacolor equipment.
- Having adequate knowledge in spectrophotometer
- Responsible for shade activities from developments sample to bulk.
- Handling fabric like, knits, Elastics, trims fabric shade approvals.
- Checking shades for all the printed, dyed, Melange and white and yarns samples and bulk lots.
- Review of shade grouping, CSV and LSV variations.
- Frequent visit to vendor units to reduce the shade related issues and correlating with them to control vendor to vendor shade matching issues
- Responsible for coordinating with product development team on new developments/trails
- Responsible for maintaining all records like machine calibration and test reports.
- Conducting the Munsell Hue test for all the suppliers and internal quality team
- Due diligent check for fabric aesthetic “Hand feel” (bulk against an approved standard)
- Coordinate with all concerned departments for day-to-day activities to have a smooth workflow.
- Attend the FPT failures of all RM's and discuss with the supplier to sort out the issues.
- Check shrinkage, fastness (washing, crocking, water & perspiration), PH for the daily finished lots.
- Review of fabric inspection reports, ensure the lots passed as per SOP
- Having adequate knowledge in Garments production (QA)
- Testing all physical & chemical tests for finished fabrics as per the buyer’s requirement and standard testing methods like ISO, AATCC, ASTM standards
- ABK AOTS 5S Certified Internal Auditor
- NVA Elimination Incharge – Identified and reduced non-value-added activities to improve efficiency
- Good knowledge of Kaizen principles for continuous improvement and process optimization
