Conceptualization and implementation of Knowledge Management in the Income Tax Department, India.
·Pilot Project “Ayakar Seva Kendra” - Single window online mechanism for achieving excellence in public service delivery mechanism as part of e-governance initiative.
Development of an institutional mechanism (publication of annual National Digest) for sharing best practices in the Income Tax Department “Let Us Share” to encourage innovative problem-solving across the organisation.
Project for creating “Vision 2020”, “Citizen’s Charter” 2010 and “Strategic Plan 2011-15” for the Income Tax Department.
Active role in the preparation of the Service Quality Manual.
Proficiently handled the IS: 15700 Certification Process by BIS and was involved in the celebration of the 150th year of Taxation in India.
Played a major role in conducting an Internal Audit of the pilot projects of “Ayakar SevaKendra”
Actively involved in various Organizational & Management Studies conducted by the Directorate of Income Tax (O&MS), for the Income Tax Department on the National Level for carrying out a continuous review of work procedures, laying down work/staffing norms and reforms, formulating action plan, monitoring the performance of field offices vis-à-vis the targets, and information system.
Deeply involved in rolling out the Sevottam Scheme (Benchmarking excellence in Public Service Development). This is an integrated model for excellence in the delivery of public services by a Government Department. An initiative by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DAR&PG) and Performance Management Division (PMD) of the Cabinet Secretariat under the close supervision by Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) ofIndia.
