The objective of this project to obtain maximum efficiency the maximum power point is tracked by applying an MPPT algorithm. In this project we have modeled the standalone system by using a DC source as input power and then instead of using direct DC source, a PV system is connected as input source and the output of the system is studied and analyzed. The unregulated DC output supply of the PV array is mainly because of changes in weather conditions. By using the fuzzy based P&O algorithm maximum power is tracked with respect to irradiance levels and temperature with the help of DC-DC converter.
