Senior Design Engineer –(R&D) Product, Process and Tool design.
Enhanced working with PLM and Team centre. As an Enthusiast implemented new technologies in workflow, where Factory layout was drafted as Digital Twin to network the process flow, then the drafting was 3D modeled to work in line with Augmented Reality which was open for a Virtual factory tour.
Expertise in Forging Part, Process & Tool Design Acted as a key role player in cross functional team, Reduced manufacturing Lead time. Handled team of engineers as Project Lead, had control on both NPD and Engineering activities for the wide product disciplines. Responsibilities involved – New Product Development, Process validation, Special process establishment, Process documentation (SOPs & PFMEA), Factory Layout planning for Assembly process (Implementation of Industry 4.0 for process sequence), Product costing with Bids and Tenders, Fixture and tooling development, Incorporating New Technology for Production, Product cost saving by Value addition and Value engineering.
