Working as a Sr. Virtualization engineer in an environment consists of 1200+ ESXi Hosts and 13000+ VMs spread across mainly 3 datacenter locations in USA and Europe. We run many varieties of workloads such Windows, Linux, Clustered MSSQL VMs. The entire private cloud environment runs on VMware vSphere 7.x & 6.7 and Unity all flash storage arrays as the back-end storage with all fiber-based connectivity using Brocade switches.

• 1st and 2nd line support - troubleshooting of IT related problems from in-house software to hardware, such as Blackberry’s, Laptops, PCs, and Printers
• Troubleshoot basic network issues such as ADSL broadband issues. Log all calls in the Service Desk Call Logging system – BMC remedy
• Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress promptly
• Managing Active Directory by Creating user accounts, resetting passwords, creating groups, etc
• To arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in-house. Keep the systems virus-free with the help of EPO, McAfee V Shield
• Upgrade McAfee EPO 2.5 to EPO 5.0.2. Data integrity is maintained in desktops and laptops with Symantec Endpoint Encryption Service
• Performing the preventive maintenance on all the Desktops, Servers, and Switches. Maintaining hardware and software inventories
• Installing and configuration DLO for Laptop and Imaging desktop and laptop by ghost image. Troubleshooting the technical issues on desktops, servers through the Dame-ware remote control tool.

Environment: Windows Client – Management

• Installing all kinds of software and peripherals. Assembling desktop and troubleshooting hardware
• Troubleshoot LAN and Wireless Network. Configuring & managing MS outlook 2007, 2010
• Proxy setting and Host file adding for internet issues. Domain joining and troubleshooting Domain-related issues
• Data encrypt and decrypt using to Bit locker, Safe Boot. Installing printer drivers, scanner drivers, projector drivers
• Sharing printers in Network/Local. Updating Firmware for printer and scanner driver
• Creating scan to Folder and Email in Network printer. Antivirus installation and troubleshoot.
