• Responsible to guide product design, development, merchandising, quality and technical team
• To process the fabric as per requirement as well as follow up on orders with Internal and External stakeholders
• To negotiate the price of fabric from the supplier in accordance with the required quality and standard
• Do vendor mapping by analyzing vendor’s strength & product types
• Do price negotiations and delivery requirement decisions with vendors to meet OTIF target
• Set processes and SOP’s to guide vendors on brand requirement.

• Involve in style handover discussions along with design & PD team for technical requirements from development to bulk
• Advise PD on feasibility of fabric considering styling, fit and wash aspects and recommend improvement areas to avoid failure in bulk production
• Analyze and assess fabric needs, based on design's seasonal direction, and make mill/fabric recommendations along with PD
• Participate in meetings between mills, design & product development as needed to find new fabric qualities and finishing techniques
• Work closely with Product Development to ensure a seamless hand over process for fabric and garment development
• Partner with testing labs to ensure all fabrics are developed to meet testing standards
• Accountable to meet OTD deadlines along with merchandisers by ensuring all preproduction activities happens with first time right approach
• Assessing garments for fit, construction and overall quality & technical aspects at Proto, Fit and PP stage
• Expertise in handling technical design and creating technical sheet
• Men’s wear Shirt formal, Casual, denim shirts, Ethnic, Knit & Active wear
• Kid’s wear denim & Non-denim Shirt, denim & Non-denim Bottoms
• Maintaining and evaluating end-to-end risk analysis report of each product to understand scope of improvement from inception to bulk
• Expertise in using PLM tool to generate garment measurement specification & sample evaluation comments
• Doing fit benchmarking with competition brands before start of each season.

· Conduct comprehensive pre-production meeting after reviewing size set sample along with factory teams, vendors.

· Do thorough product review during pre-final & final audits by following all Lifestyle requirements in the presence of PP, FPT & GPT reports.

· Assist garment vendors to achieve required quality & continuous improvement on product quality.

· Plan & follow up monthly Field Audits (Online, Pre-final & Final Inspections) with factory & merchandising team.

· Do regular Lifestyle stores & Warehouse visit to validate bulk shipped product quality.

· Bridge between Nike Liaison office PI team and Gokaldas exports marketing & cross functional team.

· Reviewing & assuring quality of developer samples, salesman samples, QRS & inline products.

· Conducting comprehensive pre-production meeting after reviewing size set sample along with marketing & factory functional teams.

· Doing thorough product review during interim & final audits by following all Nike requirements in the presence of QRS & Wash test reports.

· Planning & following up monthly Field audit dates of Nike PI team.

· Reviewing & communicating status of all Nike KPI’s to PI team on

monthly basis.

· Reviewing patterns received for bulk production.

· Analyzing shrinkage (washing, ironing, steaming & stitching) to achieve required amount of spec accuracy during product realization.

· Setting & finalizing quarterly & 30-60-90 plan for the fiscal year.

· Conducting weekly MCPMD audits and Quarterly KSQE & QMS audits at all production facilities.

· Creating & following up Standard Work Sheet instruction for all define styles on regular basis.

· Defining & Controlling CTQ elements for all define & kids styles during production.

· Maintaining quality of denim fabric during finishing process.

· Efficient utilization of machine, man-power in the area of production in denim processing consisting of IFR (Integrated finishing range),Merceriser, Stenter & Coating machines.

· Responsible to raise MRS,DPR feeding in ERP solution called TIM.

· Analysis and work towards reduction finishing defects towards improvement of packing accuracy in daily fabric inspection report.

· Ensure the SOP in place are diligently followed.

· Ensure and encourage department team mates to adhere to all safety and precautionary guidelines.
