- Worked on improving inference speed for elevator button recognition on an Ugo robot that uses NVIDIA Jetson Nano as an edge computer
- Trained and tested various object detection models such as Yolov8, YoloNas and efficientDet-d0
- Trained a CRNN for character recognition on the buttons and optimized it for faster inference on the edge CPU
- Delivered significant performance gains in inference times for real-time elevator button recognition using more efficient models and data processing steps.
