• Skilled and experienced in conducting IP Litigation and Commercial Suits involving Trademark(s) and Copyright(s), including, inter alia, Commercial Suits under Section 134/135 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and Section 62 of the Copyright Act, 1957, Suits for Injunctive relief under Order XXXIX Rules 1 & 2 and/or Order XL Rule 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, and other cognate Suits under and in terms of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015.
• Skilled and experienced in drafting and rendering comprehensive Legal Opinions on issues touching a panoply of IP-related concerns involving Trademarks, Copyrights, Industrial Designs, and Patents.
• Skilled and experienced in drafting Commercial Contracts involving Intellectual Property Rights, including, inter alia, Trademark Assignment Agreements, Copyright Licensing Agreements, etc.
• Skilled and experienced in routine handling of non-contentious IP matters, including, inter alia, filing for the registration of Trademark(s), Copyright(s), and Industrial Design(s) before the concerned Registry/Registrar, advising clients on the registrability of Trademarks and potential threats and conflicts, etc.
• Skilled and experienced in drafting Cease-and-Desist Notices, filing Miscellaneous Replies/Oppositions/Counter-statements in respect of Trademarks, drafting and filing applications for the expungement of falsely and/or fraudulently registered Trademarks, etc.
• Skilled and experienced in Arbitration proceedings, Mediation, and other types of Commercial Litigation including, inter alia, Admiralty Suits, applications under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, Specific Relief Act, 1963 together with the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and Civil Suits under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
