1.Sale of 5 Star Hotel by invocation of Recovery Laws: A five star hotel located at a prominent location was sold under the provisions of the Recovery laws of the land. All the Legal processes both within courts and outside courts were strategised and successfully executed. The ultimate success of this particular project was that the actions of the Lenders were upheld by the Supreme Court of India in a Landmark and Historic judgement.
The sale of this asset helped multiple lenders to recover their dues through a coordinated and collaborative effort.The sale proceeds realised were more than Rs 500 Crore and helped the Lenders in recovering their dues.
Another significant aspect of this project was the swift and quick actions of the team members associated with this project. Timely and prompt filing of relevant applications in courts, briefing the senior counsels, coordinating with other lenders were highly critical to the success of the project.
2. Disposal of Several Employee related matters under the Staff Regulations: As the Disciplinary Authority and Appellate Authority for Senior Executives , dealt with and. Disposed of several matters by following the due process of Law and the Regulations thereof. This has helped to significantly improve the morale of the employees and has led to their career progression.
3. Disposal of matters under Right to Information acting in the capacity of Central Public Information officer and Appellate Authority
4. Change of Management effected in a Listed company by invocation of the provisions of Companies Act 1956: Prompt initiation of Legal action with due adherence and Compliance of the Companies Act, the Change of Management by removing the Managing Director and Directors was effected in respect of a Listed Company.
5 Obtained favourable injunction orders from courts by acting swiftly in critical matters: In a matter relating to an unsecured investment of more than Rs 50 Crore made to a Leading Media House, attachment before judgment was obtained resulting in an immediate Recovery of Rs approximately 8 Crore
6.Initiated, filed and got admitted Insolvency Petitions against Leading and Large Corporate Houses by invocation of the provisions of Insolvency and Bankruptcy code.
7.Handled several matters in courts of law in critical recovery cases by taking possession of assets, putting them to sale, distribution of sale proceeds etc.
8. An equity investment in a emerging and large real estate company was made. Due to non allotment of shares and non compliance with other provisions of the companies Act, legal action was initiated and was able to recover the full investment of nearly Rs 50 Crore
