  • Coordination and liaising with Regulatory Authorities with respect to continuing airworthiness functions related to Maintenance Control.
  • Responding to deficiencies which arise from independent quality audits/DGCA and for appropriate corrective action.
  • Carry out analysis of significant events and ascertain the following root cause analysis- whether the day was controllable/uncontrollable & assign further responsibility of remedial /preventive actions.
  • Monitoring the daily operations of the fleet to ensure that any defects and delays reported are expeditiously attended to and resolved.
  • Supervise & Coordinate for all unscheduled maintenance functions that are accomplished using airline's procedures. Assign maintenance actions to Contract MROs to accomplish required checks or maintenance work to clear a log entry or other needed maintenance or service.
  • Coordinate with IOCC to monitor network operations and participate in contingency & scenario planning to ensure aircraft availability through effective management of aircraft tail assignment.
  • Responsible to establish a monitoring & tracking alerts from AHM monitoring (Boeing 787 fleet) & AIRMAN monitoring (Airbus 320 fleet) and assigning work scope for defect troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Responsible for the recording and forwarding of all reports to the relevant departments and highlighting any adverse reports to Engineering Management.
  • Receive the Emergency AD, received during non- working hours / days and in consultation with the relevant Technical Services Engineer/Technical Services Manager, issues a Work Card, with Maintenance Planning, for the accomplishment of the Emergency A.D., which will be later regularized by the Technical Services Department
  • Analyze the fleet wide defects ATA wise and resolves the same by taking appropriate preventive action to minimize such defects
