Description: The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is one of the largest mutual life insurance companies in the world. Founded in Manhattan in 1860, the company offers a wide range of insurance products and services, including life insurance, disability income insurance, annuities, investments, and dental and vision insurance coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Designed and Developed Test plan and test scripts based on BRD and User Stories.

• Created and executed manual test cases using Qtest and reviewed test cases developed by other Testers.

• Prepare and execute test scripts using Selenium.

• Located web elements using Xpath expression, CSS Selectors etc.

• The automation testing was developed using HYBRID Model framework.

• Involved in Smoke testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing and Retesting.

• Logged the defects in JIRA in order to perform defect lifecycle.

• Followed Agile Methodologies for all of the project activities.

• In Agile environment attended daily stand up meetings, reviewed user stories.

• Tested Mobile version of Application.

• Performed API Testing using Postman.

Project 2: MetLife Insurance

MetLife, Inc. is the holding corporation for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (MLIC),better known as MetLife, and its affiliates. MetLife is among the largest global providers of insurance, annuities, and employee benefit programs.

Responsibilities:

• In Agile environment attended daily stand up meetings, reviewed user stories.

• Followed Agile Methodologies for all of the project activities.

• Involved in Exploratory testing, Smoke testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing and Retesting.

• Designed and developed Test plan and test scripts based on BRD and user stories.

• Created and executed manual test cases using Qtest.

• Created Test cases and uploaded to Qtest using Excel sheet.

• Filed and tracked the defects using JIRA.

• Involved in defect review meetings, weekly status meetings and walkthroughs and interacted with BA and Developers for resolving Defects.

• Created Test data for QA and UAT.
