Asos is a British online fashion and cosmetic retailer. This is a datawarehousing project for various reporting needs.

Project Environment : Azure Synapse, Azure Datalake, ADF, Azure Data bricks, SSIS, SQL, Agile

Responsibilities :

• Designed and developed ADF pipelines.
• Extracted and conveyed client needs effectively to team members.
• Review PR and present solution to client.
• Highlight any potential risks within time.
• Ensure code is delivered till production successfully with in time limit.
• Arranging stand up calls and maintaining daily status tracker.

Project Name : EDW Implementation on cloud

TCL is non banking financial service company. This assignment was aiming to create Enterprise Datawarehousing solution.

Project Environment : Azure Synapse, Azure Datalake, ADF, ADB, Talend Studio, TSQL, MySQL

Responsibilities :

• Created dynamic Polybase to upload any file into Azure Synapse
• Creation of database objects, blob containers and building logic in Sql queries in Azure
• Creation of Integration runtime, Triggers, Alerts, Pipelines (Activities) & Debugging the pipeline errors in Azure data factor
• Automated ETL jobs and handling dependencies between them
• Creation and maintenance of ADF pipeline for different scheduled jobs
• Identify data scenarios and suggest corrections to business logics/transformation.

Project Name : Datawarehouse on Azure

IndusInd is a Indian retail bank. This was one of the first retail bank moving on cloud in India.

Project Environment : SSIS, Power BI, Azure Dataware house, Azure blob Storage.

• Client interaction for Requirement Gathering and System Analysis
• Designed and Developed sql tables, views, stored procedures, SSIS packages and functions

Project Name : DataFlux to SSIS Migration

FSCS protects consumers when financial services firm fails. It's the compensation scheme for customers of UK authorized financial services firms. This assignment was to upgrade ETL to SSIS packages.

Responsibilities :

• Understand and analyze already existing Dataflux codes and shape them in the Design Document for SSIS code development
• Resolve team's functional and Technical queries.
• Bridge the technical and functional requirement gap and understanding.
• Creation of database objects like UDF, Stored Procedures, Views, writing T-SQL queries, performance tuning etc
• Creation and maintenance of SSIS packages for different scheduled jobs

Stora Enso is a leading provider of renewable solutions in packaging, biomaterials, wooden constructions and paper on global markets. This project is to provide reporting solution to the client on their different business tracks.

Project Environment : SQL Server 2012, SSAS 2012, SSIS 2012, Power BI.

Responsibilities :

• Involved in requirement gathering and understanding of various measures and KPIs required by the client.
• Developed SSAS multidimensional cubes.
• Wrote complex MDX queries for calculated measures and named set in SSAS cubes.
• Developed Power BI reports using query logic based on the business requirement.
• Participated in the client demos and UAT.
• Worked on defect fixing and Change Request raised by the client while UAT.

McDermott is a US based oil and gas company. This is datawarehouse development project.

Project Environment : SQL Server 2012, SSIS 2012(Integration Services), SSRS 2012(Reporting Services), TFS, Microsoft Visio

Responsibilities :

• Involved in the requirement gathering for the data warehouse creation
• Development of SSIS package based on the requirement given
• Development of Test Approach and Unit testing of developed package
• Development of System test plan and System testing
• Deployment and Scheduling of the packages.
• And developing the reports on the available data using SSRS platform

Project Name : PMO Dashboard (Baker Hughes, USA)

Baker Hughes is a US based oil and energy giant. This project was to develop reports and dashboards for there PMO needs.

Project Environment : SQL Server 2008 R2, SSRS (Reporting Services), SSAS 2008, SSIS 2008

Responsibilities :

• Developed SSRS reports and dashboards based on the client requirement.
• Development of the test approach and Unit testing of the developed reports and ETL Packages
• Deployment and Scheduling of the developed reports
• Unit testing and deploying the code for System Integration Testing.
