WebSphere Application Support :
Integrate the code applications built on the WebSphere 9.5.18 platform.
Troubleshoot issues that arise in the development environment.
* Integrate applications with other Citibank systems and databases.
* Follow development best practices and Citibank's coding standards.
WebSphere Administrators:
* Install, configure, and maintain the WebSphere 9.5.18 application servers in the development environment.
Create and deploy applications on WebSphere.
Monitor application performance and server health.
Troubleshoot WebSphere-related issues.
Manage security, logging, and access control within the environment.
Collaboration and Additional Responsibilities:
Both Development and UAT teams would work closely with business analysts and project managers to ensure the project aligns with business requirements.
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability standards.
Stay updated on the latest WebSphere technologies, best practices, and Citibank's internal development standards.
Provide support during production releases, working with release teams for smooth transitions.
Potentially provide on-call support to address urgent production issues.

System-Engineer-TechOps
Technical Operations:
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the infrastructure behind ValueFirst services.
They keep an eagle eye on availability and performance of our services. The team is available 24/7 to
provide 2 nd level technical support and resolution to problems and enquiries that customers report. They
have an in-depth understanding of the products live on production servers. They work closely with
engineering team to resolve all escalated cases from customer experience team to ensure clients have
the best experience possible.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deployment, Tracking, Maintenance and Optimization of VF-services .
2. Deployments to be done through Jenkins/Ansible.
3. Maintain QOS, Backups and Service Uptime.
4. Database(Mysql) maintenance/Optimization.
5. Work on tickets and provide resolution with SLA
6. Manage timelines, product releases, and track bugs with engineering team
7. Interaction with client in some case for online testing to debug issue
8. Monitor and troubleshoot issues of Linux, MySql, WildFly/Jboss/Tomcat related issues
9. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human
intervention time on any tasks
10. Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems, Services and infrastructure availability
11. Overseeing the preparation of environments for the testing/UAT of software releases,
participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of said releases
12. Conduct sessions on new releases and KT with internal teams
13. Daily tracking of work
14. Creating FAQ’s and Service Documents for documentation purpose
15. Assisting the various Technical Platform Teams with tasks that require
optimization/modifications to the current infrastructure.
16. Prepare RCA Reports if required.

Proactive monitoring of middleware systems for performance, capacity, and availability issues. Tuning and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance for insurance processes.
Incident and Problem Management: Quickly resolving middleware-related incidents that impact insurance operations. Performing root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Security and Compliance: Implementing security measures within middleware environments to protect sensitive insurance data. Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
Automation: Developing and maintaining scripts, tools, and processes to automate routine middleware operations, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
Collaboration: Working closely with development, infrastructure, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of middleware within the company's systems architecture.
