• Led the resolution of 20+ UAT-critical defects across functional, architectural, and performance areas, resulting in stable production releases and reduced post-release issues.
• Refactored and enhanced SDK functionality in alignment with High-Level Design (HLD), improving code maintainability, and reducing technical debt.
• Designed and implemented MVVM with Clean Architecture and Unidirectional Data Flow (UDF) using Kotlin, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose, improving modularity and testability.

Project: Maya (Maya Bank, Philippines)

Responsibilities and Contributions:

• Led the development of a multi-module mobile application with a native Android core and Flutter-based feature modules, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
• Designed and implemented MVVM with Clean Architecture for Android, and MVP with Clean Architecture for Flutter, improving modularity, testability, and long-term maintainability.
• Utilized Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, Retrofit, and Dagger 2 for efficient asynchronous processing and dependency management, along with Cubit, Bloc, GetIt, and Dio in Flutter.
• Established robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, enforced code quality with SonarQube, and integrated Firebase services.
• Achieved 95% unit test coverage threshold by implementing comprehensive testing strategies using JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, and Flutter’s test and Mockito frameworks.

• Collaborated with product, QA, and platform stakeholders to analyze requirements from existing iOS codebases, translating them into scalable Android and cross-platform architectural designs used across multiple feature modules.
• Defined and established project-wide architecture and engineering best practices, mentoring a team of 3 to 5 developers on Clean Architecture, Model–View–ViewModel (MVVM) patterns, and coding standards.
• Acted as a technical mentor and reviewer, conducting regular code reviews, and guiding developers on design decisions, performance optimization, and maintainable coding practices, reducing review rework and defects.
• Implemented a repository-as-a-single-source-of-truth data layer using MVVM, Kotlin Coroutines, Room database, and WorkManager, enabling reliable offline support, and background synchronization.
