• Led backend development for Check Point’s Gaia OS, specializing in SNMP, Linux kernel drivers, Routing Multicast, Dynamic Routing, OSPF, and hardware integrations.
• Supervised enhancements to Gaia WebUI, Backup/Restore, Snapshots, Syslogd, Clish, GW upgrades, External Authentications (TACACS, Radius), Gaia API, LOM (iDRAC), and MDPS.

• Designed customized security and routing solutions, aligning customer needs with business goals through feedback analysis.

Packet Forwarding & JunOS Stack

• Developed packet forwarding features on Juniper EVO for ACX devices.
• Maintained and improved JunOS stack stability from the data plane side.
• Fixed packet forwarding issues found during product releases.

Key Projects

• MPLS Entropy Feature: Implemented MPLS entropy labels to enable efficient load balancing across ECMP paths and Link Aggregation groups without deep packet inspection.
• Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding: Developed uRPF checks to prevent IP spoofing by validating source addresses against the forwarding table.
• ECMP Support: Implemented Equal-Cost Multipath (ECMP) routing to distribute traffic efficiently across multiple paths of equal cost.

Development on ZebOS Stack

• Developed and tested various network protocols on the ZebOS stack.
• Fixed and enhanced control plane features for improved performance and stability.

Key Projects

• OSPF Graceful Restart: Enhanced the OSPF routing protocol to allow routers to remain in the forwarding path during software restarts.
• OSPF Loop-Free Alternates (LFA): Implemented LFA for fast reroute protection, minimizing packet loss during topology changes in IP and MPLS/LDP networks.
• Configuration Automation for STP & RSTP: Developed TCL automation scripts to test and configure STP, RSTP features on x86 platforms.
• Web Crawler for Test Automation: Built a Selenium-based web crawler in Python to automate routine unit test cases for Access Netfront Browser.
