Project: State wise stock market sentiment analysis using web scrapping

● The project focuses on the sentiments of people (customers) in different States, towards the stock market. Our client decides the contents for advertisements based on the sentiments type we give from our analysis methods.

● A large data is collected through web scraping via platforms like blogs, public websites, and social media comments few other sources using certain keywords like “stock_market_fraud” “stock_learning” etc. with profile location.

● The data is collected in .txt format. This data is cleaned & given as input to the Word Cloud algorithm. This model gives the respective region & its sentiment.

● The end result is a list of keywords that can be used for state-wise sentiment analysis of the stock market for social media marketing and advertisements educational qualifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Extracting data using web scrapping, Combining keywords with the region & platforms.

● Collecting the data in the form of .txt file. Data cleaning process was done by using some basic NLP techniques.

● Working with Word Cloud algorithm to get the visual representation of the frequency of the keyword.

• Experience as MIS Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the Infosys.
• Expertise in MIS, Microsoft Advanced Excel, VBA, Micros, MS Access, MS Outlook.
