Responsibilities :

• Responsible for supporting Linux servers for production, development and testing.
• Responsible for Non-prod and Prod Servers patching of Solaris 11/10 CDOM, LDOM and Zones manually and via ansible also.
• Maintain Sun Solaris patching repository server like update new patches version and packages on repo server before patching.
• Lead patching like take approvals from server’s owners like application and database team and do meeting with server’s owners before patching for set special instruction and maintain required pre-checks and post checks for patching.
• Maintain Service group and resources on VCS clusters nodes like freeze/unfreeze service groups, online/offline services groups, and resources on cluster nodes.
• Responsible for Start/Stop Db2 instance and activate/deactivate Db2 databases on Prod/Non-prod Db2 database servers.
• Take backup of Db2 databases manually and maintain space of backup file systems.
• Responsible for Run Connectivity check play book on Ansible tower for All Non-prod and Prod servers inventories (All Linux,Zlinux,OEL,Solaris & AIX Servers).
• Responsible for Run Patching Playbooks on Ansible tower for Solaris and Linux servers including Pre-checks playbook and post-check playbook before and after patching.
• User management via Ansible tower run user creation and user disable playbook from ansible tower.
• Working as LDAP Administrator like create user access, revoke user access, change password and add/remove user from netgroups on LDAP Authentication server.
• Perform pre-checks and Onboard Linux and Solaris servers on Ansible tower inventory. update configuration changes on servers for onboard on ansible tower.
• Raise and investigate Hardware cases with vendors. take required logs, explorer data and SOSreport from SUN Solaris and Red Hat Linux Servers and upload to vendor site.
• Resolve Hardware issues as suggested by vendors(Oracle, CDS and Redhat) like Disk replacement, SC battery replacement, PM replacement and Power Supply replacement etc.
• Responsible for Monitoring and administering Sun-Solaris servers and red hat Linux Servers.
• Responsible for Increase file system size .
• Responsible for execute all required changes for both Production and Non-Production servers.
• Granting root permission to users for performing certain activities.
• Worked on Problem tasks and provide proper solutions for avoid reoccurring of same issue.
• Worked on incidents like File system’s space, Stop monitoring services, Database services and application services etc.

• Monthly Patching of Linux and SUN Solaris 11/10 servers.
• Disk replacement, SC battery replacement and other hardware issues.
• User creation, Group creation and remove user access and user managment.
• Worked on creating and removing files and directories in Linux/Unix Servers.
• Installing and Configuring, manageable switches , firewell.
• Management of virtual servers on VMware.
• Managing disk storage with veritas volume manager with VxFs.
• Operate servers of instruments interfacing with network team of IBM. Supporting and do monitoring more then 900 all india instruments .
• Do all new CR in starlims with abbott team. make development logic,do UAT testing, take user acceptation ,implement CR in production with abbot starlims team.
• Do new interfacing project with Abbott starlims team. make plain of integration with software by using TCP/IP, Serial port medium and use HL7 / ASTM protocol.
• Operate and configured settings of Linux , Window based instrument with Abbott starlims software.
• Use Apache ,Apache tomcat, IIS web servers for integration between starlims and instruments. Automate scheduling by use of Shell scripting.
• Scripting in MS SQL database create jobs, trigger, SQL procedure . Take care of database like backup, Log files management .
• Windows user management , update group policy . Provide supports to users. resolve user queries.

Responsibilities :

• Assist customers with their network setup including router configuration, monitoring and testing of failover and backup scenarios
• Create Jobs , procedure, triggers, scripts , tables(Select, update ,insert) in MS Sql Server. Use Networking protocol like telnet ,SSH, SCP and FTP .
• Assist engagement manager in developing release plans, including scheduling of project milestones.

• To investigate/support all queries, issues and change requests raised by the deployment projects, peers, project managers and other workstreams re: solution questions, business process maps, system configuration, business validation scripts, and product knowledge materials.

• Installation of Window Server, MS Sql Server and restore Database on server Installation of LIS software on client systems with all configuration of windows. Implementation of LIS software as per client workflow requirement and demand. Design crystal report as per client requirement
