Core Responsibilities

• Site Product and Process Quality - Manufacturing Surgical Sutures. Train and coach engineers on PQ, QMS, L6S, and manufacturing transfer expertise.
• Drive cross-functional engagement between Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supplier Quality, QA, and EHS teams for flawless execution of PQ projects and delivery of NPI programs consistent with customer needs.
• Develop a strategy for quality metrics monitoring, reporting, analyzing trends, and initiating and driving appropriate actions involving cross-functional teams.
• Deploy and simplify QMS procedures in manufacturing, and ensure strict adherence to QMS and regulatory compliance through internal audit.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma GB projects in the areas of robust process design engineering, product quality, and transactional processes at the site. Drive a data-driven culture.
• Develop and implement the product quality specifications for RM incoming, in-process, and finished product checks.
• Plan and prepare the capital budget for the Quality department.

Core Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Readiness & NPI Support: Lead process capability, layout, tooling, equipment development, and QMS design transfer. Ensure manufacturability in NPI/Advanced Tech programs with IQ, OQ, PQ, SV, FAT, and SAT compliance.
• Process and Quality Improvement: Drive Lean, Brilliant Factory, and AME initiatives across sites. Execute KAIZEN, Green Belt, and defect detection projects to improve quality and supply chain performance.
• Capacity and Efficiency Optimization: Identify bottlenecks using VSM, and drive key projects to boost capacity and fulfillment. Conduct failure investigations and risk assessments to improve OEE, and reduce downtime.
• Maintenance and Safety: Ensure timely PM completion, machine uptime, and audit readiness through documentation. Implement safety SOPs, and manage critical spares for aging and imported equipment.
• Cost & Resource Management: Oversee operational budgets for P&E projects, and lead initiatives in cost-out, waste reduction, and energy management using data analytics.

• Operational Excellence and Productivity: Drive Lean Six Sigma, SMED, AWO, and Brilliant Factory initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and meet customer commitments. Optimize cycle time, manpower planning, and tool control.
• Quality & Process Improvement: Lead quality circles, monitor product standards, reduce internal DPPM, and coordinate quality control programs. Ensure the timely completion of IMS audits, and implement Op Mech for quality output.
• Resource & Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, review breakdown histories, ensure critical spares maintenance, and present KPIs in monthly reviews.
• Safety, EHS, and Workplace Standards: Conduct regular EHS audits, ergo assessments, safety meetings, and corrective actions. Promote 5S, and ensure a safe, organized work environment.
• Core member of Lean Manufacturing implementation and drive projects through VSM approach, Poka-Yoke, quick changeover, and cellular concepts.
