  • Managed takeover of SAP Applications by Foxconn from Microsoft for HANOI Mobile factory. Successfully had "Day 1" as planned and plant operations were started as planned.
  • SAP Applications were successfully migrated from On Prem to Azure cloud. This is one the world largest migration ever taken, where in SAP ECC production system of 48 TB was migrated with NZDT approach.
  • New SAP applications such as SAP GTS was added to landscape that had considerably reduced the operations cost.
  • SAP UDF ( Unified Demand Forecasting) feature was implemented and planning was successfully accomplished for one of the largest Australian Retailer.
  • Created tactical relationships with teams to propel projects and attain results.
  • Prepared S4 HANA Proof of concept for S4 HANA implementation and also did a demo on S4 HANA to HMD IT team on the given Business cases on very short duration with limited offshore teams.
  • Contributed to corporate strategy initiatives management across teams through accountability, communication and reporting.

As a Solution Architect,

  • Developed and implemented Unified Material planning, a planning program involving material explosion and interfacing with Suppliers for showing the demand forecast of the components for a period of 18 months. Also, the material explosion is used for deriving detailed cost break ups with the product structure.
  • E-Kanban solution for material replenishment that reduced the procurement time along with minimal inventory was developed.
  • Set up new Warehouse set up in Vietnam in Logistics. This had full scope from Inbound to Outbound operations. Several new scope of business solutions were tried out, like the ownership transfer of goods happening at the point of consumption, reducing the inventory cost and actual realization of the material cost at the point of consumption.
  • Special requirements such as carrying GR data to the point of production were implemented.

  • Quota based consumption, a SAP enhancement was developed to have the consumption of raw material effectively as per Quota percentages allocated. This resulted in savings of 60 K USD/ month. Deployed kinetic solutions, involving applications SAP WM, LMF, PMT (Legacy systems) in Dongguan and Chennai.
  • Worked and deployed continuous flow model- cost effective method of material flow with different operational philosophy at Chennai.
  • Developed solutions for Material flow at Nokia, integrating applications in Java and Dot net with SAP. Visual material handling, a process involving visual controls to stream line material flow was developed in Java application and I did process development and Business co-ordination, in a non- SAP implementation.
