About: Nationwide Building Society is a British mutual financial institution, and the largest building society in the world. It has its headquarters in Swindon. My responsibility is to develop a virtual environment using JavaScript and the LISA tool, and give it to the testing team to test before development starts.

• Involved with team members in preparing system requirements for the project.

Client: AT & T.

Project name: ADOPT application (AT&T Design Optimization and Pricing Tool).

About: The Design/Price tool was developed with the intent to assist the sales team in documenting a solution, adding sites to it, developing designs with the sites, applying and comparing price sensitivities to the design, building a contract from the price and design selected, presenting the contract to successfully sell a solution, and finally carrying all that information over to the billing and implementation world after the sale.
Technologies: Windows, Java, Spring, Hibernate, Webservice, Soap UI, JSP, Tomcat, and Oracle.
Role: Application Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Designed and implemented an SOA project using those technologies (Spring, Tomcat, Hibernate, and JSP).
• The work involved design, implementation, coding (using Java, Java Servlets, J2EE, XML, and JSP), and debugging the implementation.
• Used Servlets, Beans, Hibernate, JSP, with Oracle 10g as the database, Eclipse as the IDE, and TOAD.
• Worked with the team to prepare design documents, and made sure all the teammates were following the standards.
• Involved with team in preparing system requirements for the project.
• Collaborated with other team on the design specifications.
