  • Professional with 2.7 months of experience in the migration process from Struts to Spring, and from WAS to Tomcat, using Java and Azure operations.
  • I worked with a team on the project and gained knowledge on how to migrate the application from Struts to Spring using Java and Azure On-premises, as well as initial testing with their functionalities.
  • Involved in understanding the project requirements and getting clarification from the team.
  • Daily, we should give the progress of the application details to the client.
  • Knowledge on the migrating process from the old version of Java to the new version, and migrating the Struts components to Spring migration.
  • While doing the struts for spring migration, we should change the JSP and create the controller on behalf of the struts component.
  • Knowledge on migrating the application from Struts to Spring, and from the WAS server to the TOMCAT server, due to the WAS server no longer supporting Azure operations.
  • I used the Linux command to maintain my application in Git; I should commit each and every success, rework, and change of the code.
  • I used some Linux commands in the PuTTY server to check the logs and to do a manual deployment.
  • When we migrate the application from WAS to TOMCAT, we will encounter some compilation errors, exceptions, and so on, so we identified the bugs and resolved the errors during the migration process.
  • The application is up and running on the Dev and QA servers, prod and Dr.
  • Fixed 400+ defects in the application and application is up in production servers.
  • I performed the regression level test before handing over the apps to the testing team.
  • The application was successfully delivered.
  • Application went live successfully.afer, migrating from Struts to Spring.
