Time series Analysis of Seismic Noise
1. Performed Descriptive and Diagnostic analysis on Seismic noise using 3 years of historic data on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis using various visualizations to better understand and distinguish between the noise sources and earthquakes.
2. Interacted with Civil Engineers during Review meetings in leading role to understand the requirements and suggested the safe bandwidth of seismic isolation.
3. Assessed the impact of reduced earth vibrations due to COVID-19 Lockdown at various locations. (published an article)
• Developed Machine Learning models to detect the underlying structure of the earth.
• Developed a framework that can be used to identify the hidden bridge frequency from noisy time series using time series decomposition techniques like Singular Spectral Analysis (SSA).
• Performed Classification and clustering of the earthquakes using KNN algorithms for recognition of earthquake patterns at different locations.
• Forecasted Hydroseismicity at Hyderabad using multivariate Regression analysis (effect of rainfall in triggering earthquakes) and published an article.
