Accomplished professional with over 23 years of dedicated service in Critical Care Medicine, featuring a strong foundation in clinical leadership, academic excellence, and system-based governance. Transitioning into a senior academic and administrative role at a developing medical college to leverage extensive expertise in fostering robust, ethically-driven systems of critical care and medical education. Currently serving as Head of the Department of Intensive Care Unit (ICU), leading clinical services and academic initiatives with a vision for long-term excellence while actively mentoring over 100 intensivists who have advanced into significant clinical and academic roles. Administrative leadership experience includes pivotal positions such as Chairman of the Life Support Training & CPR Committee and Joint Secretary of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM), demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and quality assurance in healthcare.
In recognition of my work, I have received several prestigious honors including the Best Citizen Award (2015), Honorary Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (2023) awarded by ICCCM and the Best Teacher Award in Critical Care (2024).
Currently serving as the Joint Secretary of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine and leading the School CPR Program, which is being conducted across India.
