- Perform a variety of quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests and analysis of gas, liquid and solid, hydrocarbon, chemicals, water and various other substances, in accordance with ASTM, IP, UOP, APHA methods.
- Ensures that all work is carried out as per the company HSE policy with special emphasis on handling of Toxic and hazardous materials, use of appropriate PPE and segregation and disposal of laboratory chemical waste.
- Cleans and maintains own equipment and work area and exercises technical skills in repairing and modifying own equipment.
- Prepares and standardizes reagents for laboratory tests, calibrates and standardizes analytical instruments and analyses plant's chemicals according to their specifications
- Sampling and testing of Lean & Rich Amine, Concentration, water content, p H, Density, Total Acid gas Loading , Foam tendency , Fe ,etc.
- Sampling and testing of Lean & Rich Glycol, Concentration, water content, p H, Density,Fe etc.
- Analysis of offshore well head water , Slug catcher water, Inlet separator water Produced water from Revoilft package outlet, for p H, Density, Fe, Chlorides, TDS, TSS, Ca, Mg, Sulphide, Hydrocarbon etc as per requirement.
- Analysis of D.M Water samples for p H, Conductivity, TDS, Chlorides, Ca, Mg, Alkalinity etc as per requirement.
- Analysis of Condensate sample for API, RVP, Salt, TAN , BS&W etc as per requirement.
- Analysis of Inlet & Export Gas samples as per requirement.
- Analysis of HOT oil sample for Density and water content as per schedule.
- Analysis of Fresh chemicals ( MDEA, MEG, Hot oil, Corrosion inhibitors etc ) for Clearance.
- Collecting and sending the Lean Amine samples for HSS, Bicine, Metal etc analysis for Quarterly for Corrosion monitoring requirement .
- Collection and sending the produced water sample from Vessels for SRB Analysis Quarterly for Corrosion monitoring requirement
- Collecting and sending the HOT oil samples to Third party Laboratory to test Metal Analysis etc as per Company standard procedures, Once in a year.
- Active participation internal & external lab in Audits & re-certification, Safety meetings, KPI compliance, HSE policies.
- Review & Revise test procedures, In-House methods, specifications & new laboratory techniques.
- Prepares laboratory material requisitions, updating consumable and equipment inventories
- Ensure laboratory work is carried out in a safe manner with active participations in weekly safety meetings, safety drills & their proper implementations. Demonstrate competence during Emergency Response drills and training exercises.
- Exterran is a oil and natural gas production, processing, treating, transportation, produced water treatment solutions and other related applications.
- Nature of job: 28 days ON / 28 days OFF (Rotational Onshore, Paid off Salary ).
- Work Reporting to: Production Superintendent.
