• Monitor performance of the Contractor / Sub-contractor and identify, raise any quality / workmanship concerns with the RE
• Perform Internal Audits and Site Surveillance Audits
• Ensure the contractor have adequate QC personnel on site during all production shift operations to perform the inspection and tests
• Assist RE in all respect of Quality related issues
• Liaise with the contractor’s QA/QC Manager/Engineer for day to day quality issues
• Ensure the contractor has a current Internal Audit plan/schedule
• Conduct training for the discipline staff

Ø Piled Foundation Inspection

Ø Supervision and testing of cast in bored piles

Ø Installation and monitoring of thermocouple of mass concrete pours.

Ø Strain gauge installation and monitoring (resistance and vibrating wire types)

Ø Witnessing of on-site specialist tests

Ø Perform field and laboratory testing of concrete, aggregates and soils to BS and ASTM Standards.

Ø Calculation and checking of test results.

Ø Checking of laboratory equipments

Ø Performs the following field and laboratory tests for construction materials such as :

· Soil / Soils Aggregates

Sieve Analysis

Liquid Limit and Plastic Limit

Moisture Density Relation

California Bearing Ratio

Abrasion

Field Density Test using Sand Cone Method

· Concrete Aggregates

Sieve Analysis

Bulk Density Determination

Specific Gravity Determination

Soundness using Sodium Sulfate

Clay Lumps and Friable Sulfate

Abrasion

Organic Impurities

Ø Conducts quality control monitoring by inspection, sampling and testing on delivered materials

Ø Conducts inventory of laboratory equipment.

Ø Preparing daily laboratory activities.

Ø Performs the following laboratory tests for construction materials such as : Cement Tests

· Cement / Concrete

Normal Consistency of Cement

Time Setting of Cement

Mortar Strength of Cement

Slump Test and Unit Weight

Compressive Strength and Flexural Test

The principles, practices, techniques and instruments used in Civil Engineering.
* Testing of construction materials in the field and Laboratory.
* The preparation of plans and specifications oil & gas works, projects.
* QA/QC Inspections, Approval Processes & Coordination’s
* Coordination with Main Contractor, Client & Consultant
* Construction materials and of approved standards of safety as related to structural designs and specifications.

• Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality Policy
  *Checking, submitting and approving the RFI’s.
  * Conduct inspection in sites as per the submitted RFI’s.
  * Raise the NCR and CAR against any incompliance to the contract specification.
  * Coordinate all inspections; monitor the required tests and record inspections and tests made as per the Contract Plan and Contract Specifications.
  * Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.
  * Assist QA/QC Manager in conducting internal quality audits
