3 - Project: Inventory Management System (IMS)
Overview: I worked on building an inventory management system using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (cloud) combined with Microsoft Power Pages, the goal was to create a single platform that tracks inventory in real time across multiple warehouses, and makes it easy for suppliers to check stock and order status through a web portal We also automated purchase order approvals. What we needed to achieve: keep accurate, up-to-date inventory data centralized, let suppliers access inventory info and orders through a user-friendly portal, automate workflows to speed up purchase orders and approvals, and provide clear dashboards and reports to help forecast demand and manage stock levels.
Technologies used: Dynamics 365 CRM (Cloud) for inventory and customer data management, Power Pages to build the supplier-facing portal, Power Automate for workflow automation like approvals and notifications, Azure Logic Apps and APIs, Power BI to create easy-to-understand reports and dashboards, and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for customizing the portal’s look and feel
