- Working as tech consult over hear and my role here to build a new adserver which can server millions of request in a day and that can be scaled to another 100 millions in short span of time.
- It essentially has 3 part to it.
- 1) Ads serving engine that take care click, impression and conversion tracking at scale.
- 2) Admin Panel to manage all operations such creating campaigns and filtering different sets of data point and managing users etc.
- 3) Reporting: It’s a vital part of adserver.
- As every tracking data need to be sum up in such a way that operational team can drive useful insight out of this tracking data.
- It help them to optimize campaigns in order to get max conversions.
- Lastly it help them to generate invoice for their billing needs.
