Presently working as Senior Executive in Demand Planning in Supply Chain Department for Sleek division of Asian Paints
Adept in the use of Forecastpro software for demand planning with regards to forecast generation, overriding of forecast and marking specific events in Forecastpro so as to normalise the statistical output
Regular interaction with Sales team for their specific input in forecast, and achieving Forecast Value Addition KPA of 15%
Carrying out SKU level Root Cause Analysis of major overforecast and underforecast incidents with an aim to understand patterns and reduce MAPE (Mean Absolute Percent error)- this has helped achieve a key KPA metric of keeping MAPE within 25% of actual demand
Regularly achieving improved OTIF ( on time in full) and OFR (order fulfillment ratio) of 95% by suggesting consolidation of slow moving SKUs by analysing Fast moving and Slow moving SKUs
Worked on developing a tracking/input mechanism to get specific demand of major projects to improve demand forecast accuracy
Tracking inventory coverage of SKUs and coordinating with marketing team to help liquidate stocks with high coverage , this invariably also helped in better inventory management and space utilisation at warehouse improvement
Developed Safety stock modelling and applied the same to ensure minimal stock outs and optimal Order Fulfillment Rate
Enabling leaner distribution model by identifying stocks that were lying in depot in excess of safety stock and monthly average sales
Developed Automated reports using R language also generated allocation logic helping efficiency improvement by 85%
Was earlier part of Financial Analysis department of Asian Paints with specific focus on sales trend analysis, sales mix and price analysis and Reporting of Actual V/s Budget and Actual V/s last year key financial metrics
Have a team handling experience with two direct reportees in Planning department and 7 member offroll team
Two time winner of ROTS ( recognition on the spot )
