Shakti Singh

Shakti is an enthusiastic professional committed to physical and emotional well-beings of all. His empathy enabled him to understand need of his students at mental and emotional level and accordingly orchestrates fun, energetic and motivational yog classes for students at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Shakti was born in a rich cultural town in Uttar Pradesh, India and began his journey into yoga at the tender age of 6. Guided by his father, he entered the world of yoga ashram and embarked on the traditional practice of Raja Yoga under the spiritual guidance of Sri Yogacharya Gurudev Shree Rajpal YogRishi.

By virtue of his commitment and drive to learn and spread Yoga he attained Doctor of Philosophy with alternative therapy knowledge as AyurVeda, Marma , Naturopathy and Acupuncture .

Shakti teaching and style not just work on physical level however bring a in-depth change to the seeker through identification and modification of his chronic mental and emotional patterns. It was during this journey that the vision of establishing "Doctor Yog" emerged.

Through "Doctor Yog," Shakti aspires to extend the healing benefits of yoga to a wider audience, helping more people lead enriched and improved lives. His mission reflects a deep-seated belief in the power of yoga to positively impact not the body, mind and spirit.
