Responsibilities
1.Plan, Monitor, Execute design & development activities for Manual transmissions
2.Drafting of technical drawings, documents, finalize design calculations & analysis jointly with parent Company (Suzuki Motor Corporation -Japan).
3.Sourcing and development of TM components – Conducting technical reviews, supplier selection and coordinating with Quality, Purchase, Production, Testing and service teams in new vehicle models
4. Technical Negotiation with Indian & foreign suppliers to ensure worst case prototype testing
5. Investigate and provide solutions for various quality and design issues, Transmission related Failure Issues reported from market and manufacturing Plants both before and after SOP
6. Localization of critical gearbox components along with coordination in Development, Inspection and Proto Testing activities.
7. Up gradation of the Gear shift mechanism and Reverse Gear Design optimization to improve Vehicle performance
8. Detailed Technical analysis and Packaging feasibility study of different Transmission models across various vehicle platforms such as SUVs, sedans etc.
9. Conduct Transmission assembly fitment trials jointly with Production teams and resolve failure issues (if any) reported from different manufacturing plants globally.

1. Got certificate of appreciation from MSIL senior management for new powertrain development projects in launch of Brezza 2022 model
2. Received Quarterly Achievement award twice for localization projects in manual transmissions across different passenger car models.
3. Saved 2 Million INR by localizing critical gear box components across various Manual Transmissions of Passenger cars.

1. Execution, Planning and coordination of the Design projects for new tractor gearbox models.
2. Worked on the Cost Reduction Exercise Project involving Design Optimization of critical gearbox components.
3. Preparation of Standard operating procedures, technical drawings, 3D Models and Service manuals.
4. Technical Design and Failure Mode effect analysis (DFMEA) for critical Gearbox components
Achievement - Got spot award for Central benchmarking technical database with one touch access for all types of gearboxes

1.Design and Development of complete gearbox in farm equipments called Power Tillers.
2. Worked on the DFMEA - Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis, Design Review & Optimization, DVP-Design Validation Plan and Bench marking Projects
3.Strip Down analysis and detailed investigation for various quality and design issues
4.Project coordinator for the Installation and commissioning of gearbox test rig
5.Detailed Customer survey analysis and formulation of technical product specifications through tools such as House of quality, Quality function deployment etc.
