Key Responsibility Area: Venture Capital Fund Accounting and Reporting

• Maintaining detailed books and records for investment fund, management entity and other group entities.
• Responsible for performing monthly consolidations, financial reporting and budgeting for entities.
• Preparing full sets of accounts, issue capital calls and distribution amounts, calculate funds' IRR and investor reports on quarterly basis.
• Supporting investment team in deal execution and portfolio monitoring.
• Manage all compliances and tax requirements for the fund and the management company.
• Manage employee expenses, reimbursements and payroll.
• Develop and manage financial controls and procedures for the company.
• Develop structures for efficient reporting and financial management.
• Vendor Management, audit coordination and liaising with bankers and maintain relationships with external vendors including tax consultants and service providers.
• Ensure timely and correct filing of statutory payments and returns.
• Budgeting and cash forecasting by estimating cash requirements for business operations.
• Also, actively involved in Impact reporting and ESG Reporting.

Key Responsibility Area: Fund Reporting (Hedge Fund)

• Role involved fund reporting for the Hedge Fund accounts and review of the same.
• Have knowledge of preparation of the financial statements under US GAAP.
• Preparation of workings to financial statement which includes financial highlights, Condensed schedule of Investments, Financing agreements (Derivative) related notes etc.
• Have understanding of the Master Feeder and other structure of the Funds.
• Job role also involves getting the Financials audited which includes understanding the auditors query and providing a
  solution to them under a quick turnaround time.

Key Responsibility Area: Risk control (Credit Risk)

• Job role involved reconciliation of the data from the source system to the Credit Risk Reporting Tool.
• Preparing the summary of all the breaks in the data elements and total risk exposure due to breaks.
• Responsibility was to understand the audit queries and then provide solutions.
• To perform independent review on the elements that are generated within the reporting tool and get assured of the results that these are generated correctly.

Key Responsibility Area: Fund and Investment Accounting (Private Equity)

• Job role involved looking for a vintage which crossed hurdle, catch-up and had reached its carry phase.
• Looking after day to day activities for the Portfolios majorly being Gross Investment, Divestment, re-structuring, custody reconciliations etc. both at the entity level and asset level.
• Valuation of the portfolio company together with the calculation of the carry accruals for every quarter.
• Calculation of the Management Fees for the entities.
• Preparation of the Investor Report, Forecasting model, Statutory Reports and Allocation statements.
• Preparing the leaver calculations and also the leavers letters.
• Calculations of drawdowns and distribution amounts and preparation of the letters along with the details.
• Also, involved NAV calculation on quarterly basis.
