• I took the whole project management as Project Engineering Consultant and was responsible for bringing the project from design stage to final implementation stage. I monitored and ensured that the development is done as per the specification without violating government standards. I coordinated and supervised engineers, contractors, staffs under me and made the process clear that I get the report of daily activity of each staff by end of day. I used cost evaluation techniques and calculations and ensured that the project cost is kept the minimum without losing quality and efficiency.
• Handle all site related activities, Taking practical data from site on day to day basis.
• Co-ordinate with various departments like Engineering (who provides working drawings), Procurement (who buys materials), Contracts (who awards contracts & raise any issues with the client), quality (who maintains) & Commissioning Departments
• Collect periodic updates and prepare daily, weekly and monthly updates of the project
• Create variance reports (Schedule Variance and Cost Variance – usually Earned Value Method (EMV) is used for this) at various stages of the project to analyse deviations.
• Create Project Closing Reports and Learning’s
• Interaction with vendors, contractors, to ensure the project objectives are met with.
• Construction supervision of all works at site, including safety, quality and time schedule.
• Follow Quality Assurance check lists and procedures.
• Issue NCRs for all processes and products
• Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered
• Preparation of all documents related to inspections & attends inspections with the client for all activities of the site & ensures that it is as per latest approved drawings and get approval
• Cost Estimation and Budget preparation based on the given Contract condition, Provide excellent service in order to maintain a positive reputation for the business.
• Resolve any customer complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
• Assess clients' needs, recommend or assist in the selection of appropriate goods or services
• Preparing Bill of Quantities and compiling them for the Project.
• Monitoring the site and ensuring whether work is done as per the adhered standard and quality. Offer training in the operation and maintenance of equipment
• Conducting Technical meetings for Architect, Engineers & contractors to make them understand better about the products.
• Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
