• Ameriprise Mobile, The project will create a rich native application for Ameriprise customers to access account details in real-time from the leading smart phone devices in the market today, Android, BlackBerry and iPhone. The application will be available in iTunes, Android Marketplace, and BlackBerry App World. Anyone can download the app and use the basic functions to search for an Advisor and/or an ATM. Customer will be able to log into their accounts in order to view specific account information in the app., Coordinate with all Cross Commit teams to gather project requirements and timelines., Create Design using MS Visio., Create Web Service Proxy, XML Firewall services using DataPower., Make REST based calls to one of the Backend Servers., Write XSL logic to transform incoming message to desired output and also do message routing., Enable Mutual SSL from Frontend to DataPower and from DataPower to Backend., Write a script to monitor DataPower logs for all the Mobile Services that generates a daily volume and error report in CSV Format.
• EODS Integration, To maintain End of Day (EOD) Transactions and provide information to clients. EODS is Database application to provide information to clients using Web services, Reason behind this EODS App is to reduce the number of calls to mainframe application to fetch different types of transactions like getting Brokerage Account information, getting financial transactions, getting Annuity account info etc., Developed WTX maps for conversion between COBOL Copy book and XML., Developed AAA policy to authenticate and authorize using SAML signature., Configuring SQL data source through DataPower Oracle RAC support., Loop back calls using dp:sql execute function to invoke Stored Procedure., Performance logging., Extensive Error Handling and Error logging.
• DataPower XI50 Appliance Replacement with XG45 appliance, The Project was to replace existing DataPower XI50 7993 appliance with XG45 7198 appliance as the old appliance was ending its support on Dec 31st 2011. Need to configure default domain settings such as Ethernet interface, NTP service, Host Alias, Failure Notification configuration and configure the application domain with back up taken from the old appliance., Coordinate with all Cross Commit teams to test the replacement project and resolve the issues., Configure the eth interface, secure back up, NTP setup, Failure Notification in the default domain., Create an application domain and import the objects from old appliance., Create monitoring scripts for new appliance., Create stats (CPU, Memory, File System, System usage) collector scripts for new appliances.
• BETA API projects, Around 63 API services exposed by BETA (Thomson Reuters) will be consumed by various applications through a single DataPower MPGW service. Each API needs Mapping XML needs to be created to convert incoming XML tags to BETA accepted (equivalent) strings. Logic was developed to select the API specific Mapping XML identity document dynamically at run time to convert the XML tags to strings for that API., Developed a logic for dynamic selection of Mapping document at run time based on incoming API transaction., Coded a shell script to create Mapping document from XSD provided by App team., Developed a logic to convert XML to BETA equivalent string.
• Money Movement integration with BETA, The Project was to integrate Money Movement application with Thomson Reuters (Provider) using Message Broker. Money Movement is mainframe application whose request will be in Cobol Copy book format that needs to be converted to XML using message set in Message Broker before invoking Thomson Reuter application and vice versa in the response flow., Made use of MQGET node to enrich the message in flight., Good knowledge on message set definition for COBOL copy book., Develop message set definition for COBOL copy book., Develop message flow and ESQL code for copy book to XML conversion., Deployment of BAR file in AIX server., Coordinating test plan between front end and backend application.
• Bank of Montreal (BMO) DataPower/APIC Support, Certificate renewal using Venafi tool and installation of certificate/key files in DP/APIC., Troubleshooting any DP/APIC related environment issues., Migration of code between different environments., Raising PMR and working with IBM for critical issues., Analysis and troubleshooting of issues using DPOD tool.
