Track Team Member
A great opportunity where I was given a conditional job offer from Toyota to work as a Production Team Member at TMMI. My work station at Engine Line Gold Shift. Where I am required to learn the safety of using crane for my two processes to get certified. My primary job is to make sure to properly use a crane to safely lift up the engine’s by pointing with my finger to make sure the chains are aligned properly and engine is locked in. Afterwards I have to safely put down the engine on a moving robot after the robot comes to a complete stop by unhooking the engine and making sure it is set in correctly. Afterwards I Scan to make sure it’s the correct engine before aligning it with its counterpart and merged them together then send it on to the next process. My secondary job has to do with using a bigger crane to lift up the counterpart engine and put it on the moving robot after it comes to a complete stop. I make sure to scan the engines to make sure it’s the correct one and safely hook it up by making sure I point with my finger to make sure it’s safely hooked up and ready to be lifted up. After lifting it up and safely put it on the robot. I make sure it’s completely unhooked by pointing my finger at the hooks. Then I scan the paper to make sure it is the correct paper and engine. I then send it to the next process which is my primary job that I switched with quarterly. After every shift, whichever process I finish in I clean the area and make sure to leave it clean and ready for the next shift. My area has 4 processes which I am only required to learn two but in order to make work and rotating more easier between Team Members I learned the other two.
