Being an unorganized small family business setup, almost all day-to-day business operations need to be monitored. It includes my following roles and responsibilities.

• Procurement - Selecting high-quality raw marble and granite blocks from the quarry, negotiating competitive prices for the chosen blocks, and ensuring optimal quality meets budget expectations.
• Processing - Overseeing the transformation of blocks into market-ready slabs at the processing facility, ensuring proper quality management throughout the process.
• Sales and Marketing - Attracting new clients while consistently delivering superior quality products to existing customers.
• Finance Management - Managing operational and fixed expenses and receivables for smooth business operation.

CONTROL TOWER PROJECT

• Led a team of 8 individuals and established process control at Control Tower and Roster management to ensure availability of 24x7 live issue handling team.
• Introduced following activities, built processes and brought control

1) Centralized Vehicle Fueling – Reduction in excess fuel consumption by 16% by introducing various process improvement and data analysis techniques.

• Route mapping – 250+ Routes were mapped by analyzing pre-installed GPS data using Excel
  Fuel calculation – Excel and power BI based automated report was built which gave executives an visual fuel disbursement limit.
  Trip wise data analysis was done using R for better understanding of dynamic real-life situations.
  

2) Live Monitoring – Prepared comprehensive vehicle interactive dashboard using power BI and subsequently assisted the software development team applying it at pan India level through development of online tool for live trip monitoring.

• Automated Popup alert system was designed for various parameters which resulted in reduction of delivery time, fuel consumption and improved service.
• An escalation matrix was defined for better transparency and swift action.
• Achieved a 20% reduction in in-transit temperature deviation.

3) Routine Data Analysis – A dedicated team for generating and publishing manual as well as automated reports to various levels of management.

• Functional consultant for development and automation of BI reports and dashboard through Power BI.
  Structuring and analyzing vehicle-wise monthly P&L and reporting.
  Bill finalization for GPS devices per month by analyzing data.
• Coordination with 12 branches pan India to ensure GPS maintenance and introduced a process for control.

Worked as an intern in Cadbury Gems manufacturing unit and handled shifts.

• Undertaken project for rework reduction in gems manufacturing.Conducted root cause analysis to identify loop hole and established a control for 15% reduction in rework per year.
• Handled various operational manpower issues as a part of daily shift handling activity.
• Understanding Integrated Lean 6 sigma model and 8 pillars of Total Productive Maintenance.
• Understanding and maintaining concepts like 5S and kaizen along with process and quality parameter understanding.

Worked as an intern in production and quality control lab.
