Responsibilities :

• Delivery of the overall test strategy and maintaining strong and cooperative relationships with functional, technical, and key business stakeholders, both internally and externally, to deliver significant value within the program and de-risk program delivery through Quality Assurance.
• Delivery of industry standard automation testing frameworks, providing quick and efficient test execution in relation with SAP programme.
• Monitoring and controlling test process quality and results. Drive key milestones and progress ceremonies (agile/waterfall), e.g., defect triage, quality gate entry/exit with stakeholders.
• Accountable for planning and managing execution of all test phases in scope across large complex SAP projects keeping in line with timescales for market specific releases. Providing real-time, daily and weekly reporting on test progress including delivery of dashboard reporting covering KPI’s and SLA’s with stakeholders
• Define test scope and coordinate setup of the technical test environment, test data management and test tool selection.
• Conducting the meetings with different workstream teams to gather the testing requirements and identify integration scenarios
• Automating the regression test suites using the TOSCA tool.

SAP Test Automation using Tricentis TOSCA

Responsibilities :

• Accountable for planning and managing execution of all test phases in scope across large complex SAP projects keeping in line with timescales for market specific releases. Providing real-time, daily and weekly reporting on test progress including delivery of dashboard reporting covering KPI’s and SLA’s with stakeholders
• Define test scope and coordinate setup of the technical test environment, test data management and test tool selection.
• 27%-29% IT test delivery cost saving and process improvement/value addition.
• Conducting the meetings with different workstream teams to gather the testing requirements and identify integration scenarios
• Automating the regression test suites using the TOSCA tool.

Project Description :

The DC Transformation (DCT) Programme will provision and equip four new hosted and managed Data Centres including the required networks and connectivity and infrastructure platforms into which we will migrate National Grids Enterprise Applications (UK & US) from their existing homes in DXC data centres.

The National Grid QES TEAM and the ADAM partners will then test these applications to ensure that they have been migrated successfully.

Responsibilities :

• Delivery of industry-standard automation and performance testing frameworks, providing quick and efficient test execution in relation to the SAP program.
• Vendor management, integrated program planning (internal and third parties). Developed, managed, and tracked the project plan to implement business features, driving a collaborative delivery plan and approach.
• Automating the regression test suits using TOSCA tool

Managing different testing phases like SIT, UAT, OAT , Regression, Performance.

Major Challenges & Mitigations :

• Being an Agile model there was no documentation available for most of the applications to understand the requirements/functionality. To mitigate this challenge, arranged the KT/Demo sessions with respective SPOC's,Product Owner, Solution Architect which helped the team to understand the test requirements.
• With limited number of resources it was very challenging to execute regression test suits within stipulated time during migration activities. This challenge was mitigated by automating the regression test suits using TOSCA and Selenium tool.

Project Description : SAP CRM implementation project to replace the legacy non-SAP applications and to manage the different processes related to Banking & Finance, Insurance, Payments, Licensing.

To deliver this solution multiple vendors were contracted to complete the SAP implementation in stringent timelines. Cognizant was appointed to ensure the high quality of end product without compromising on different aspects like day to day business processes in different domains, security and performance of the application.

The project scope consisted, testing the end to end integration between SAP CRM and other non-SAP apps, UAT, Regression, Performance Testing. And also test automation of regression scenarios using UFT and TOSCA tool.

Responsibilities :

• Managing Test Strategy, Test Planning & all Testing Deliverables using Agile Methodology
• Facilitating grooming and planning sessions with engineering delivery team
• Agile ceremonies like Scrum meeting, Sprint Planning, Tracking and Status Review, Sprint Closure & Retrospective.
• Working with team to adjust focus and approach as needed

Major Challenges & Mitigations:

• Faced challenges to deliver the test deliverables on time due to lack of experienced SAP Testers in the team. This problem was mitigated by teaching and mentoring the testers in team who had no prior experience in SAP testing.
• Faced challenge while choosing the test automation tool. Which was mitigated by analyzing and considering the project requirement, team skills, ease of test case creation, reusability and training & support.

Project Description : SAP Digital Transformation program for T-Mobile Reverse Logistics and T-Mobile merger with Sprint. Majority of business processes were related to SAP MM and SAP SD module for managing the supply chain management.

Major Challenges & Mitigations :

• Communication gaps, while conveying the software requirements was creating the hurdles in constructing accurate test cases and adequate test coverage. To mitigate this challenge, I ensured to have the regular team meetings (internal QA team meetings & meetings with developers) to maintain a transparent process and also help team members stay aligned on their deliverables.
