  • Performed Tension Test on various RVEs of same volume fraction in ABAQUS CAE (Max deviation of 8% in Young’s Modulus under a strain of 40% of the original length)
  • Simulated water seepage in composite materials by introducing void pressure, providing critical insights for optimizing material performance during stress testing of two-dimensional Representative Volume Elements.

  • Engineered an Underwater Inertial Navigation System utilizing a 9DOF IMU sensor, enhancing positional accuracy by capturing real-time data with less than a 5cm error margin during underwater trials
  • Created a MATLAB solution that evaluated gyroscopic and acceleration inputs to ascertain position, facilitating a reduction in computational errors by 30%, thereby enhancing the positional data


DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A LOW COST 4-DOF ROBOTIC ARM

  • Used SOLIDWORKS to design 3D Printable links and housing for the various parts of the robotic arm
  • Developed a sophisticated virtual simulation of the robotic arm using MATLAB, enabling testing and validation of movements that improved design iterations by over 30% before physical prototyping commenced
  • Designed sophisticated trajectory paths utilizing advanced features in SIMULINK; this enabled continuous operation with minimal interruption
  • Used 12bit Magnetic Encoders to create a closed loop control for the stepper motors
