As a Practice leader for UNIX competency team, My responsibilities included,

1. built and managing team of Unix Subject Matter Experts within Technology Competency Group(TCG) under CDO(Central Delivery Organization)

2. Perform Vendor Management activities(IPSOFT,NETIQ and CYBERARC etc)

During this period, I had traveled to Canada to support one of the client in setting up disaster recovery environment. The duration of the assignment was more than 15months

1. Worked along with Account level architects in designing DR solution's

2. Deployment of new IBM power hardware and latest AIX features in the client environment and also build new solutions as per client requirements.

3. Validate the functionality of various applications on IBM power hardware and AIX operating system and work closely with IBM developers in case of any assistance required.

4.Participated in High severity issues related to Unix and Storage

5. Support IBM HR by Participating in tech panel during hiring.

My stay in this organization was very short and I was involved in minimal activities.

1. Member of the AIX support team involved in rendering L3 support to onsite team and planning for critical changes on Servers

2. Ensured compliance to project delivery schedules and other SLA parameters to maximize uptime of servers

As a Sr. System administrator,

1. Rendered support to administrators in troubleshooting AIX server related issues

2.Lead a AIX migration project across the organization where AIX was migrated from 4.x to 5.x

This role involve setting up of COE lab for the technical staff in the organization for various technical trainings. Along with this I was also managing the Wipro technical certification portal.

As a HP peripheral engineer, I was providing technical support to all HP Printers and plotters along with HP Desktop and Servers which were under warranty/AMC.
