• Was one of the 10 Optometrists selected from across India for the Youth Leadership Program conducted by the ‘India Vision Institute’
• Successfully completed the IACLE Student Trail Examination in August 2006 at Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences, Manipal
• Presented a paper on” Accuracy of Javal’s Rule in the determination of Spectacle Astigmatism” at 6th Dr.E.Vaithilingam Scientific session held on 25th March, 2007 at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.
• Participated in the 35th Indian Contact Lens Education Programme (Basic & Advance) L. V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad from1st Dec-5th Dec 2005
• Participated in the Low Vision Awareness program held on April 25-27, 2008 at LVPEI. Hyderabad.
• Performed refraction with diagnosis and management, as well as contact lens work up and dispensing
• Organized and participated in several eye camps when in college in different rural areas across Karnataka.
• Was an active volunteer in Low Vision Awareness Programme and Indian Contact Lens Educators Programme
• Played a key role in organizing and conducting an Optometry CME for the first time in Bangalore.
