Handling and supporting the end to end System Administration tasks on the Power 9 IBM ISeries servers.

Working as a shared resource member, handling 3 clients simultaneously with 15+ LPAR's.

Member of the Change Control Board representing IBM iserver team.

IBM i Administration, maintainance, troubleshoot AS/400 various application jobs & EOD jobs.

Working closely with users to provide assistance in identification and resolution of user problems.

Managing system jobs, job queue and out queues.

Attending to escalations on AS/400 related support issues.

Coordinating with Compliance teams for audit related activities like implementing the Audit requirements at system level by working with various system values, user profiles etc.

Setup, maintain and monitor user profiles, group profiles and authorization lists. Ensuring all users have got authorities as per their job profiles.

Handling BRMS related issues (including tape management).

Regular updates on the AS/400 box including software installation and PTF apply. Installed and upgraded the various hardware and software associated with the servers along with patches.

Working on AS/400 Incident management and Change management tickets.

Ensuring server meets the daily SLA by ensuring various system backup jobs & EOD jobs are running fine & on time.

Trained for around 6 month in Infosys Mysore as a trainee on Python and Database administration.

Vendor management for the hardware services and the tools.

System migration activities.

IP swap of the Lpars.

Performing the Save and restores.

TCP/IP configurations.

Mimix replication validations.

Applying the licenses to tools (Including Mimix).

Applying the latest PTF’s.

HMC management.

OS upgrade and server migration.

Performing DR activities.

Disk addition and configuration.

BRMS setups and issues handling.

Documenting the process.

Installing and troubleshooting of ACS.
