Roles And Responsibilities
- Pricing of Fund of Funds which are ultimately pulled down for NAV calculations.
- Pricing of Estimates after downloading the reports from Investor Managers web portal.
- Pricing the Market Value, NAV per Shares and Rate of Return based on the statements received by the fund managers.
- Updating the weekly, monthly and quarterly prices to the funds.
- Manual calculations of subscriptions, redemptions, internal class transfers from one class to another taking place in the funds in which investments are made.
- Creating new class and series in alpha frontier.
- Reaching out to various fund administrator portals for contract notes.
- Calculation of Gross NAV and Net NAV.
- Performing daily audit activities of security prices in accordance with client price authorizations.
- Co-ordinate with various pricing vendors to confirm prices.
- Research correct prices on various reference sources.
- Responsible for 'NAV' and 'Pricing' team in India, collaborating to Poland and Toronto.
- Managing the team in the absences of team members and ensuring that all the deliverables are delivered in a timely manner, and the quality of the work is maintained.
- Preparation of daily and monthly volume metrics of the team.
- Take care of the process training for new hires and make them comfortable to price the funds.
- Supporting to canoe automation R&D team.
- Preparing missing report.
- Supported to the Canoe exception team for mapping requirement fields.
- Searching for order confirmations/contract notes in Admin portals (Northern Trust, Citco, Hedge serve, Morgan Stanley, SS&C global, and State Street Corporation etc.) and receiving the Contract notes from the underlying Fund Administrator on timely basis.
- Order confirmations/contract notes not available in Admin portals sending mails to admin for knowing when it will be realise.
