Role: Intelligence & Internal Security Operations

• Worked with the Special Branch (SB), the intelligence wing of Delhi Police, handling preventive and intelligence-led policing functions.
• Collected and analyzed Human Intelligence (HUMINT) through sources and informers.
• Monitored activities related to terrorism, extremism, radicalization, organized crime, and other internal security threats.
• Conducted threat assessment for VIPs/VVIPs, government installations, foreign missions, and major events including Republic Day, Independence Day, elections, and international summits.
• Issued alerts and security advisories to district units and other police formations to prevent incidents proactively.

District Policing – Delhi Police (North, South, West, North-West Districts)

• Served in District Policing across multiple districts of Delhi, handling law-and-order, investigation, crime prevention, and public interface duties.
• Conducted investigation of various offences including vehicle theft, power theft, corporate/commercial thefts, murder cases, snatching, and street crimes.
• Performed scene-of-crime examination, evidence collection, witness examination, and preparation of case diaries and charge sheets.
• Handled court proceedings related to criminal cases, including power theft and serious offences, and coordinated with prosecutors for trial follow-up.
• Participated in law-and-order deployments, bandobast duties, and preventive policing during sensitive situations and public events.
• Worked on crime analysis, identification of repeat offenders, and area-based policing to reduce crime trends.
• Conducted inter-district and inter-state coordination for investigation and accused tracing.
• Assisted senior officers in case supervision, legal compliance, and operational planning.

Specialized Exposure – Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS):

• Worked in AATS handling investigation and recovery of stolen vehicles, identification of organized theft networks, and enforcement under IPC/BNS and Motor Vehicles Act.

• Served as ASI in the Police Control Room (PCR), handling emergency response and public safety operations across assigned areas.
• Responded promptly to PCR calls (100 number) involving accidents, public disputes, crimes in progress, medical emergencies, and law-and-order situations.
• Coordinated with local police stations, district control rooms, and field units for swift action and case handover.
• Conducted initial assessment at the spot, ensured safety of victims, preserved the scene, and facilitated timely medical aid when required.
• Managed crowd control and conflict de-escalation, ensuring minimal use of force and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Assisted in detention of accused persons, preparation of preliminary reports, and documentation for further investigation by the concerned police station.
